How to do a smokey eye

Dont skip on this sultry look because you cant quite master the smudge, just read through step-by-step guide.
Prep with eye primer. Bobbi brown's long-wear eye base, £19, is a water resistant and oil absorbing to extend the wear of your shadow by eight hours!
Line your eyes with kohl eyeliner on the top and bottom lash line. Dont fret if its not a straight line - your doing a smokey eye remember.
Smudge the liner with a spounge (i rate the body shop's smudger brush, £9) on the top lid and bottom lash line.
Dip blending brush into your eyeshadow and sweep all over your lid from your lash line up to your crease you want this part to be really pigmented, so dont be shy with layering it on - the blending motion will add a bit of dusting to just above your lid crease as well to give you that smoulder effect.
Finish off with two coats of mascara on both the top and bottom lash line to make your eyes really pop
